    Their sound is often dismissed as punk lite.
    Their EP ‘Blow It Out Your Ass It’s Veruca Salt’ features the group draped in toilet paper on the cover (1996).
    Post and Gordon feuded behind the scenes.
    The video for ‘Volcano Girls’ has the band members swinging on bungee cords.
    Post made snarky references to Gordon in her lyrics after Gordon left the group.
    Their namesake is the spoiled little girl from Roald Dahl’s classic kids’ book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.’
    Post and Gordon met through mutual friend Lili Taylor.
    They are Beatles fans and pay tribute to them in their music.
    Post kept the band going even after the other original three members left.
    ‘Seether’ may have inspired the South African band of the same name.
