After starting the 2003 season 9-0, they wound up finishing the season 4-3, including a loss at home to the Denver Broncos, in which they allowed Clinton Portis to score 5 touchdowns.
Their first loss of that season came against the Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Chad Johnson, who predicted the Chiefs loss.
