Why she might be annoying:

'I Believe,' which was the number one single for a month in Canada, was played half to death during tv coverage in Canada of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
It got to the point where even CTV anchor Lisa Laflamme, during a live Olympic telecast, expressed that she was sick of the song.
She likes to shop.
She recorded 'Gotta Go My Own Way' for the Canadian 'High School Musical 2' soundtrack.

Why she might not be annoying:

At age 12 she was the youngest headliner ever at the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
Her first album, a live Ella Fitzgerald tribute CD and DVD, received widespread acclaim and two Juno nominations.
She performed 'O Canada' at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics and also performed at the Closing Ceremonies.
She was a part of Young Artists for Haiti's version of 'Wavin; Flag,' whose proceeds went to various charities. She has also received an award from the Quebec Chapter of The Association of Fundraising Professionals for 'Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy.'
