Why he might be annoying:

After being drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies, he refused to play for them, forcing a trade to the Rockets.
His nickname is the presumptuous 'Stevie Franchise,' but he stopped being the Rockets' franchise player once Yao Ming joined them.
The Rockets showed he wasn't their 'franchise' player when he was traded to the Magic (2004).
He also has the nickname 'Wink.'
His middle name is De'Shawn.
He was suspended three games for kicking a photographer (2005).
He was suspended three days for 'conduct detrimental to the team' (January 14-16, 2006).
