The Resume

    (September 4, 1956- )
Born in Staten Island, New York
Birth name was Steven Edward Duren
    Bassist/rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist for W.A.S.P.
Prior to W.A.S.P. was in Sister (1976-79), Circus Circus (1979-81) and London (1981-82)
Nephew of baseball pitcher Ryne Duren

Why he might be annoying:

Growing up, he was in a street gang with Ace Frehley.
Before coming up with his final stage name, he was known as Naughty Blackie Nogood.
Former W.A.S.P guitarist Chris Holmes said, 'Blackie wants to be the only guy... He was really shitty to everybody in the band.'
He described his sex life during W.A.S.P's heyday with, 'I'd walk right into the women's bathroom in a nightclub and usually more often than not I'd find somebody who was willing.'
After he became born again, he decided to stop playing W.A.S.P's signature song, 'Animal (Fuck Like A Beast),' saying 'I don't want 13-year-olds going around singing that song' and suddenly sounding a lot like former nemesis Tipper Gore.
He said that Obama reminded him of Hitler (2008).
He was falsely reported to have died in a car crash (2012).

Why he might not be annoying:

He famously wore a sawblade codpiece, about which he said 'This was going to be either the best thing ever or the dumbest thing ever imagined.'
After W.A.S.P were targeted by the PMRC, he received hundreds of death threats and was even shot at a couple of times.
He said about being born again, 'I'm much happier now because I'm totally at peace.'
He was considered for the role of the T-1000 in 'Terminator 2' but was replaced by Robert Patrick because he is taller than star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He said about the death rumors, 'If I was dead, I wish someone would have the common decency to let me know. Besides, a car crash is way too mundane. I would have opted for something more spectacular.'
