Why he might be annoying:

    He is best known for being the head coach who pulled Patrick Roy after nine goals in an 11-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings.
    His decision eventually led to Roy demanding a trade and leaving the organization on bad terms.
    His team blew a 2-0 series lead and were eliminated by the New York Rangers in six games (1996).
    He couldn't handle the stress of being a head coach in Montreal.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a member of five Stanley Cup championship teams.
    He spent his entire playing career with the Canadiens.
    He was hired as the team's head coach despite the fact he had no prior coaching experience.
    He scored the series winning goal of the 1978 Stanley Cup Finals.
