    She sat on the board of the Children's AIDS Fund, and advocated for funding of the organization, which is criticized for being anti-gay.
    She attended a Christian college.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She earned her medical degree from Penn State University.
    She served as a longtime physician in the United States Army.
    She dedicated her life to promoting HIV/AIDS awareness and research.
    She headed one of the most impactful HIV vaccination trials in history, also developing and patenting vaccinations.
    On her more objective days, she did a fine job of maintaining a stoic, un-emotive face while listening to Trump's nonsense at press briefings.
