    He was a journeyman player.
    His inconsistent performances as a starting pitcher led to him being demoted to the bullpen.
    He ended up on the disabled list after he fell and tripped trying to record an out (2012).
    Some baseball pundits felt he was overused during the Indians run to the World Series (2016).
    He blew a key inning for the Indians in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, which proved to be costly in the later stages of the game.
