He has been described as 'a goofy-looking guy.'
He drank and was a frequent drug user.
He once said: 'I'm glad they didn't have drugs...when I was in high school, because if they'd had drugs I'd still be in high school.'
He was never an original member of the Eagles but was hired as a replacement.
He ran for President of the United States in 1980, as well as for Vice President in 1992.

He played the famous guitar riff in the song 'Hotel California.'
He got the biggest laughs at an 'Improv All Stars' show and he's not even an improviser.
