Model

The Resume

    Born in Toronto, Canada
    Resides in Los Angeles, California
Model who suffers from vitiligo, a condition that causes pigmentation cells to die
    Featured on People.com
Eliminated ninth in the 21st cycle of America’s Next Top Model (second exile)
    5'9

Why she might be annoying:

She labels herself an aspiring journalist.
There's confusion over what her actual name is. (Born Winnie Harlow but goes by Chantelle in modeling).
When her hair is hit by water, it gets oily.
She was very deeply worried her makeover would be a buzz cut (‘do not, do not, do not touch my hair!’).
When she was exiled in Week 4, she didn’t bother acknowledging the rest of the competitors (why Shei referred to her as a ‘sore loser’).
No sooner was she reinstated – by nearly a quarter of a point over Ben – than she got to talking about what Lenox referred to as ‘enjoying it on the other side.’ (And that wasn’t all Lenox had to say about her!)
She did not particularly appreciate when consultant Yu Tsai started to call her a ‘panda’ (which isn’t even a bear, but classified as part of the raccoon family).
Good thing she didn’t care what her fellow players thought of her — at the MCM go-see challenge, the other contestants didn’t want to be partnered with her (though ultimately, Keith wasn’t affected by becoming her teammate).

Why she might not be annoying:

After years of relentless bullying, she had to get used to being told that she was beautiful.
Her condition first appeared, when she was four, as a spot on her leg; then it spread.
She was bullied by fellow students over her condition, being called 'zebra' or 'cow.'
At 16, she was spotted by a fashion photographer who then requested to take pictures of her.
She would post her modeling pictures on her Facebook page and Instagram.
Tyra spotted the pics, had her audition, then cast her!
Even before her Top Model cycle's airing, she acquired well over 200,000 followers on Instagram.
Her story inspired one girl suffering from the same condition to finally wear shorts!
She turned her skin condition into a standout asset.
Hooray! A Canadian finally competes on the parent series!
