    He is considered the main figure behind Melbourne’s Gangland Killings, in which over 35 people were murdered.
    He chose the life of a career criminal despite having a wife and children.
    He dropped out of high school.
    He was a gambler and was banned from Melbourne’s Crown Casino under the Casino Control Act (2004).
    He and his father were charged with drug trafficking, with drugs seized worth up to $20 Million at one their laboratories.
    He began his criminal career as the driver for two of Melbourne’s biggest drug dealers, Jason and Mark Moran.
    He was shot in the abdomen by Jason Moran over a dispute related to a failed amphetamines batch and drug manufacturing equipment.
    He then took out a vendetta against the Morans and their associates in crime (referred to by the media as the ‘Carlton Crew’).
    He had his hit man kill Jason Moran and his associate when Jason was in his car with his two children (2003).
    The Moran murders caused a chain of events, which saw another 11 people murdered in the criminal underworld.
    He gained somewhat of celebrity status similar to that of Chopper Read.
    His crimes and conviction lead his mother to commit suicide (2008).
    He went from getaway driver to the don of Melbourne’s criminal underworld.
    He pleaded guilty to all counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
    While in jail he began expressing regret about his life of crime.
    His wife Roberta claimed he was a loving husband and a good father to his child and his stepchildren.
    He inspired the hit television series ‘Underbelly’.
    He was bludgeoned to death with a piece of metal from an exercise bike by a fellow inmate.
