There's supposedly a feud going on between them and Jack White
and supposedly in a magazine interview, he said that they lost their minds.
Their original name was 'The Baby Killers.'

Why they might not be annoying:

All of the band members had previous experience in other underrated garage rock bands.
Many people doubt that there's a feud because Jack White is a loyal supporter and sponsor of Detroit bands and they all used to hang out together.
They appear on 'Sympathetic Sounds of Detroit,' a compilation of Detroit bands including The White Stripes, Soledad Brothers and Whirlwind Heat.
They've opened for The White Stripes and The Stooges.
After their first album 'Lack of Communication' was released, they became a huge hit with alternative, indie and garage rock fans and they were called 'Garage rock's latest thing.'
