    She birthed a son while she was a teenager.
    The FBI removed her name from their missing persons database in 2003.
    Her height is documented at four feet and seven inches.
    After her release (May 2013), she celebrated her freedom by getting various body piercings.
    She was raped and abused repeatedly by her captor.
    Her height made Castro believe she was a young girl, then he became furious when he realized she was 21.
    She assisted Amanda Berry's childbirth during their captivity.
    She had five more pregnancies, all ending in miscarriages induced by Castro's beatings.
    She acquired four flower tattoos, one for each victim trapped by Castro, including Amanda and Ariel's baby.
    She was estranged from her family at the time of her kidnapping and was dismissed as a runaway when she went missing.

    Castro was sentenced to life in prison plus 1000 years for the kidnappings and repeated rapes.
    After the sentencing, she told Castro 'Your hell is just beginning.'
    After Castro's suicide, she said that she had forgiven him.
