Why she might be annoying:

    She dropped out of college to become a model.
    She was a heavy smoker.
    She was part of a group of actors removed from the Chamber of Deputies after chanting anti-war slogans (February 5, 2003).
    She ran unsuccessfully for the European Parliament (2004).

Why she might not be annoying:

    After the police refused to respond when her estranged husband started breaking down her door, she called Franco a 'son of a whore' and demanded that the cops come out and arrest her as a 'red.' (There was still no police response, but it was a pretty ballsy move.)
    Her third child died shortly after birth.
    She won the Goya Award (the Spanish equivalent of the Oscar) as Best Supporting Actress for 'Nobody Will Speak of Us When We're Dead.'
    When Javier won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, he dedicated his Oscar to her in Spanish.
    Her children organized a tribute to her which 1300 artists participated in (2017).
