    He has been called 'the absolutely crudest and wildest of all rock & rollers.'
    His lyrics were full of '50s cliches.
    He was very energetic when he was a child and his mother had to pin his shirt to the ground with a rock to control him.
    He played music from age ten until his death at 67.
    He was know as 'a crazed rockabilly one-man band.'
    He wrote over seven thousand songs.
    When he recorded and during live shows, he would play several instruments at one time.
    He inspired bands like The B-52's, The Cramps, The Polecats, and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
    He was said to be able to play every song he wrote and two thousand covers from memory.
    He was a member of the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame.
