TV Series
    (September 5, 1988-April 13, 1991)
    Hosted by J.D. Roth
Aired in syndication (1988-90) and on FOX (1990-91)
Premise: Child contestants compete in a game of messy stunts and trivia for a chance to run through the 'Fun House' for prizes
It was a complete and total ripoff of another show.
Like most kids game shows at the time, it featured kids getting 'slimed' and covered in food.
Marc Summers didn't like the show and frequently took shots at it on 'Double Dare.'
It typecast J.D. Roth as a kiddie game show host.
It was canceled soon after it was moved to FOX.
It was considered a 'cooler' alternative to 'Double Dare.'
Despite being blasted as a 'Double Dare' knockoff, it was able to be successful on its own terms.
Roth went on to have success as a television producer.
It released 'Fun House Fitness' children's exercise videos, featuring Jane Fonda no less!
