    Directed the films 'One-Armed Swordsman (1967),' 'The Girl with the Thunderbolt Kick (1968),' 'The Heroic Ones (1970),' 'New One-Armed Swordsman (1971),' 'Seven Blows of the Dragon (1972),' 'Dynasty of Blood (1973),' 'Death Chamber (1976),' 'Invincible Shaolin (1978),' 'Five Deadly Venoms (1978),' 'Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms (1978),' 'Kid With the Golden Arm (1979),' 'Ten Tigers from Kuangtung (1979),' 'Flag of Iron (1980)' and 'Super Ninjas (1982)'

Why he might be annoying:

    He only directed kung-fu with the exception of one or two horror films.
    A vast majority of his films have yet to receive international distribution.
    His only international successes were the 'One-Armed Swordsman' films and the 'Five Deadly Venoms' films, which is about 6% of his entire filmography.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was the leading kung-fu director of the 1970s.
    He was the most prolific and successful director working for the famous Shaw Brothers Studios.
    He declared that he would stop working once he directed his 101st film, which he achieved in 1993.
    He frequently worked with David Chiang, Philip Kwok and Lung Ti, making no less than 25 films with each of these stars.
    His work has influenced the likes of John Woo and Liu Chiau Liang.
