He only hit one home run during the course of his major league playing career as Wayne Granger said, 'We've figured it out. It will take him 4,189 years to catch Babe Ruth.'
A sack of flour fell from an aircraft onto the ground near his shortstop postion at Dodger Stadium; there was no reported aircraft at the time of the incident according to the Federal Aviation Administration (September 4, 1971).
The Phillies fired him three months into the 1988 season as he didn't have a chance to draft a player with them.
