Albums include 'Burnin' Up The Road (1990),' 'Sacred Ground (1992),' 'Hurry Sundown (1993),' 'Terry McBride and the Ride (1994)' and 'Amarillo Sky (2002)'

Why they might be annoying:

    The original trio sported mullets.
They were created during the 1990s in order to compete with country power group Alabama.
They were nearly on the verge of folding due to poor commercial success prior to the release of 'Can I Count On You.'
Ray Herndon and Billy Thomas quit the band when the record label wanted to focus on Terry as the featured artist.
The re-formed version, which consisted of the original trio's touring band, failed to appeal with the fanbase.
Following the reunion of the original three members, they disbanded after one album.
Most of their albums received mixed reviews from pundits.

Why they might not be annoying:

They wrote most of their own songs.
Following the band's second disbanding, Terry and Ray wrote several noteworthy singles for other artists.
Terry serves as the bass guitarist in Brooks & Dunn's road band.
Many country music pundits compared their sound similar to that of 80's country group Southern Pacific.
When Ray and Billy left the group, they remained on speaking terms with Terry.
