Pled guilty to the kidnapping and rape of 6 different Syracuse-area women between 1988 and 2002
Sentenced to 18-to-life (April 2003)

Why he might be annoying:

He built a bunker beneath his house, for the purpose of hiding his kidnap/sex slave victims.
He kept his victims captive one at a time, for periods ranging from a few months to 2 years.
His victims ranged in age from 16 to 53 and touched all major ethnic groups.
He raped his victims in the bunker.
He made them do other demeaning acts, such as eat their own bodily waste.
If his victims didn't please him, he would sometimes throw scalding water on them or burn them with a cigar.
He scarred innocent people and their families for the rest of their lives.

Why he might not be annoying:

He didn't kill his victims.
At his sentencing, he apologized to each and every one of the victims individually.
He's never getting out of prison.
He had amassed a small fortune in real estate investments, which was used to pay civil damages to the victims.
