Why they might be annoying:

    They hated the original draft of 'Snoopy vs the Red Baron.'
    Almost all of their attempts at non-Snoopy material bombed — at least at the time. The one exception was 'Baby Let’s Wait,' about marrying young.
    Despite a solid stream of original compositions, they were primarily a cover act.
    Their record company (Laurie) was determined to keep them in novelty mode as long as possible.
    The public eventually developed a distaste for the Snoopy novelty. Chris said each subsequent record was outsold by its predecessor.

Why they might not be annoying:

    They didn’t let their music interfere with their high school education.
    'Snoopy vs the Red Baron' charted for four weeks at #2; 'Snoopy’s Christmas' held #1 for five weeks.
    Charles Schulz endorsed them.
    'Snoopy vs Osama' was a hit on the Dr. Demento radio program.
