TV Series
    (April 7, 1999-October 2, 2000)
    Aired on Comedy Central
Amy Sedaris as Geraldine Antonia 'Jerri' Blank
    Stephen Colbert as Chuck Noblet
    Paul Dinello as Geoffrey Jellineck
Greg Hollimon as Principal Onyx Blackman
Premise: Jerri Blank, 'a boozer, a user and a loser,' returns to high school as a 46-year-old freshman
Sedaris sported a massive overbite as Jerri and noted, 'People tell me they can't watch the show because Jerri is too unattractive.'
It tended to be a polarizing show that viewers either loved or hated.
The New York Post called it 'a flat and unfunny rip-off of South Park.'
Some of the dialogue was lifted directly from Florrie Fisher's motivational speech 'The Trip Back.'
Jerri learned a moral, but inevitably the wrong one. (Example: 'Violence isn't the only way to resolve a conflict, but it's the only way to win it.')
It was Comedy Central's first live-action sitcom.
    It parodied 70s after-school specials.
Each episode ended with the cast and featured actors dancing.
In the last episode, the students and teachers burn down the school to keep it from being turned into a strip mall, a reference to the show being replaced by the Julie Brown series 'Strip Mall.'
Also in the last episode, the property developers building the strip mall were based on actual Comedy Central executives.
The Seattle Times called it 'one of the most deliciously non-PC shows out there.'
