    She attended college with the intentions of becoming a doctor, but disliked the required science courses to become one; so she went to business school instead.
    She uses Ebay herself to buy Beanie Babies, a car and fly fishing equipment.
    Being married to a surgeon, she started working for Ebay even though she really did not need the job.
    Because of her efforts, Ebay has become the most successful internet company in the world, surpassing Amazon and Yahoo in growth and revenues.
    Her efforts have also resulted in Ebay's ability to withstand the dot-com downfall and the economic downturn, and has even grown in it.
    She ranked third in Fortune Magazine's most successful businesswomen.
    To avoid burnout, she and her family take vacations at her in-laws' farm.
