Attorney
    (April 1, 1949- )
    Born in New Britain, Connecticut
Chairman of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign (June 2016-August 2016)
Convicted on 8 charges of tax and bank fraud (August 21, 2018)
    He's an attorney turned lobbyist.
He lobbied for Ferdinand Marcos, as well as what critics describe as 'pro-western dictators'.
He served as an adviser for controversial Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
His ties with Yanukovych resulted in charges of conspiracy against the U.S., money laundering, tax fraud, acting as an agent of a foreign power and making false statements.
He was part of a meeting with Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner, and Russian operatives at Trump Tower which became a focus point in the Mueller investigation.
His departure from the Trump campaign opened the door for the rise of Stephen Bannon.

He's criticized for promoting the GOP's 'Southern Strategy', which some find foundationally racist.
He graduated Georgetown University Law School with his Juris Doctor.
He was a political adviser on presidential campaigns by Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and Bob Dole.
Some conservatives argued he was a pawn in a larger witch hunt against Donald Trump.
He filed a lawsuit against special counsel Mueller, challenging the 'broad authority' which had been given the investigation.
