They are known as 'the Wets' for short.
Their two biggest hits, 'With a Little Help from My Friends' and 'Love Is All Around,' were cover tunes.
The band broke up when Cunningham quit over a royalties dispute.
Pellow was addicted to heroin.

Three of their studio albums and a greatest hits collection topped the British charts.
They headlined at the biggest free concert in Britain, attracting 75,000 fans to Glasgow Green (1989).
They reunited after the other three band members attended the funeral of Pellow's mother to show their support.
