    Small forward for Pallacanestro Petrarca Padova (1965-67), New Orleans Buccaneers (1967-68), Oakland Oaks (1968-69), Carolina Cobras (1969-70) and the Virginia Squires (1970-72)
    Assistant coach for the Carolina Cobras (1972-74) and the Denver Nuggets (1974-76, 2003-08)
    Head coach for the San Antonio Spurs (1976-80),Denver Nuggets (1980-91) and the Philadelphia 76ers (1992-93)
    NBA Coach of the Year (1988)

Why he might be annoying:

    He admitted to being associated with a point shaving scandal at the University of North Carolina.
    The association tainted his reputation and college career as a result.
    He re-entered the NBA Draft after he couldn't reach a contract agreement with the Pistons.
    He publicly stated his displeasure about the NBA-ABA merger, going as far as calling the NBA a 'rinky-dink' league.
    His teams in Denver were derided as being good, but not good enough to make a deep playoff run.
    His tenure with the Sixers lasted one season.
