    She was born into privilege but did not take advantage of the educational opportunities.
    She became a U.S. citizen.
    She helped raise $12 million for the successful Clinton-Gore campaign for the presidency (1992).
    She was a hard worker who worked until her death, even though she could have lived off the wealth of her parents or her husbands.
    She is ranked in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World (1993).
