    He had personality conflicts with Ian Anderson and Glen Cornick.
    He did not want to play as often as the rest of the band.
    After he left Jethro Tull, they got enormous, and he missed out on all of the fame and fortune.
    His biggest selling solo album is a guitar instruction record.
    He works as a financial consultant.
    He wanted to take Jethro Tull into a more guitar-oriented direction.
    He said that he would stay in Jethro Tull until they found a replacement, but their manager fired him anyway.
    He later took a break from music because he was frustrated with the business aspect of the industry.
    Critics compared him to Eric Clapton.
    He still gigs a few times a month.
