Premise: Contestants try to win a Tic-Tac-Toe game by answering trivia questions
The 50's version was notorious for being part of the quiz show scandals, with many of the games being rigged.
Martindale left the show after seven successful seasons to host the flop 'Headline Chasers.'
The 90's version was notorious for its awful production, terrible hosting by Patrick Wayne, and featuring a rapping cartoon dragon.
It tends to be overshadowed by another Tic-Tac-Toe trivia game.
It set the standard for similar quiz shows, like 'Jeopardy!'.
Contestants had to be intelligent and skilled in order to win.
The show was able to escape its scandalous past and enjoy a successful run in the 70's and 80's.
Contestant Thom McKee set a record by winning 43 games, appearing on 46 episodes and winning over $300,000 in cash and prizes (until it was broken by Ken Jennings).
The computer animated dragon featured was state of the art at the time.
