    Hosted ‘Celebrity Bowling’ (1971-77)
    Appeared on Broadway in ‘Oliver!’ (1963-64) and ‘Barefoot in the Park’ (1963-67)
    He admitted that he had never watched ‘Santa Barbara’ before being cast in it.
    When he was on ‘General Hospital,’ he was only two years older than the actor portraying his character’s son, Dr. Alan Quartermaine.
    He titled his memoirs ‘Please Spell the Name Right.’
    He won back to back Soapy Awards for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Days’ (1977-78).
    He bought Clark Gable’s old home, Windy Gables (1981).
