TV Series
    (June 1, 2009-January 22, 2010)
    Born in Hollywood, California
    Hosted by Conan O'Brien
    Announced by Andy Richter
Music by Max Weinberg and the Tonight Show Band
Frequent bits include 'In The Year 3000,' 'Conan's Tabloid Moment,' 'Twitter Tracker,' 'Celebrity Surveys,' 'Checking in on Max in Europe' and 'Conan and Andy Do Anime'
    Aired on NBC
It was, by far, the shortest-lived iteration of the Tonight Show since the 50's.
It was constantly beaten in the ratings by The Late Show and Nightline.
It brought back Conan's irritating former 'Late Night' sidekick Andy Richter.
Conan retired some of his most popular Late Night bits such as 'If They Mated' and 'Clutch Cargo' when he moved to the 'Tonight Show.'
Conan got into a bizarre feud with Newark, New Jersey mayor Cory Booker after he made a joke about their health care program.
After Jay Leno's prime time show failed, NBC wanted to give Leno the 11:30 timeslot back and push the 'Tonight Show' back a half hour.
After Conan refused the changes, he ended up losing the show altogether.
NBC never gave it a fair chance.
Conan said on refusing to change timeslots: 'I believe that delaying The Tonight Show into the next day to accommodate another comedy program will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting. The Tonight Show at 12:05 simply isn’t the Tonight Show.'
Conan gained a huge amount of online support during the debacle.
Conan injured his head during a bit where he ran a race against Teri Hatcher.
Billy Mays was a guest on the show just a few days before he died.
Despite many fans' worries, Conan's humor changed very little when he hosted the show.
