During a stand-up performance at the University of Missouri, he chased after a crowd member who attempted to leave the auditorium to take a phone call.
His first Comedy Central special, 'John Oliver: Terrifying Times' received incredible ratings for a stand-up performance.
He has created great chemistry with Rob Riggle on 'The Daily Show.'
Growing up, he both played rugby and violin.
Upon arriving to America, he quickly became one of the most popular correspondents on 'The Daily Show.'
He once referred to himself as the Reggie White of satire, saying 'if any issue tries to run through me, I will smack that shit down before dancing arrogantly over the now unconscious issue shouting ‘not in my house, baby!’
