    Wrote 'Who is Ayn Rand? (1962),' 'Psychology of Self-Esteem (1969),' 'The Disowned Self (1971),' 'Judgment Day (1989),' 'The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem (1994)' and 'The Art of Living Consciously (1997)'
    He had an affair with Ayn Rand when he was 19 and she was 44.
    He eventually cheated on Rand with a younger woman.
    He was criticized for including detailed descriptions of his sex life in 'Judgment Day.'
    He secretly recorded phone calls between his third wife and Rand.
    His PhD did not come from an accredited school.
    He is rumored to believe in flying saucers.
    Next to Rand he is the most important figure of the Objectivist movement.
    He and Rand got permission from their spouses before beginning their affair.
    Rand called him a bastard and slugged him when they broke up.
    He became a persona non grata in Objectivism after he left Rand.
    His second wife died at 37 from an epileptic seizure.
    He was one of the first psychologists to recognize the importance of self esteem.
