Why he might be annoying
He jumped into the stands at Chicago's United Center to confront a fan arguing with his wife, Kendra (January 18, 2006).
Because of the Pacer-Piston's in stands brawl (November 19, 2004), the NBA posed a no-tolerance rule for players climbing into the stands.
The fan, Michael Axelrod, 22, claimed Kendra scratched him and is suing the Davises for $1 million.
He was suspended from that game during the overtime which the Knicks lost by just 2 points.
He was suspended for 5 games for this incident.
He was part of the unsuccessful 2002 Team USA.
He was drafted by the Pacers in 1991 but did not play for them until 1993.
During the 1992-93 season he played in Italy.
Why he might not be annoying
He felt his wife was being threaten by opposition fans and wanted to protect her.
