Why Indianola, Iowa might not be annoying:

It is the largest city in Warren County after Des Moines.
Iowa's eleven mile Summerset Trail runs through the city.
George Washington Carver and Casey Blake both lived and studied there.
The National Balloon Classic festival is held at its Memorial Balloon Field nine days annually.
The Des Moines Metro Opera is headquartered there, and performs three grand operas there every summer.
