    Forward for the Chicago Black Hawks (1939-52) and the New York Rangers (1953-54)
    NHL scoring leader (1943, 1944)
    Hockey Hall of Fame inductee (1964)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was the fifth son of six, and one of 13 children altogether.
    His NHL career was derailed as a result of injuries.
    He was turned away from the Toronto Maple Leafs, after Conn Smythe considered him too small.
    Art Ross considered him one the worst amateur players he had attend the Boston Bruins training camp.
    He left the Black Hawks a year after they traded his brother to Toronto.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He defied the odds and made it to the NHL, despite his small stature.
    He helped his family with their farming operations during the off-seasons.
    He primarily played in the senior leagues across his home province of Saskatchewan, prior to making the Black Hawks roster.
    He, alongside his brothers Max and Reg formed the NHL's first all-brother forward line.
    He was voted the top hockey player in Chicago during the first half of the 20th century.
