    (May 1, 1957- )
    Born in Morrow, Ohio
President of the BioProducts Division at Archer Daniels Midland (1989-95)
Sentenced to 10 years in prison as a result of his contributions to the ADM lysine price fixing scandal
Subject of the 2009 film 'The Informant'
He was the first high ranking business executive in American history to become a whistleblower.
After he ratted out ADM for price fixing, he defrauded the company while working for the FBI.
During the investigation, he admitted to accepting kickbacks and money laundering, which rendered the case useless.
He created a fictional company to send his company invoices and he paid off the debts under his own name.
As a result of his contributions to the price fixing scandal, he lost his whistleblower immunity.
He was charged with fraud and tax evasion following the scandal (1998).
Prior to working at ADM, he lived in Europe for four years and became fluent in German.
During his sentence in prison, he served as a model inmate and was released two years early as a result of good behavior.
While many people consider him a hypocrite for his actions, some felt his sentence was overly harsh, since the length of his sentence was three times as long as his co-conspirators'.
Following his release from prison, he was appointed to an executive position at Cypress Systems.
He was portrayed by Matt Damon in the movie 'The Informant!'.
