She was recommended for SNL by cast member Cecily Strong, who had been her understudy during a tour by the Second City improve group.
She was also a writer for Strong’s monologue at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (2015).
She tweeted an apology, calling her comment about Barron ‘inexcusable.’
