    (June 27, 1967- )
Born in London, England, United Kingdom
Voice of Jem in ‘JEM and the Holograms’
CDs include ‘Samantha Newark,’ ‘Somethin’ Good,’ and ‘Hologram’
Film credits include ‘Summer Camp Nightmare’ and ‘Hook’
Video game voices include ‘Twisted Metal: Black’ and ‘Britney’s Dance Beat’
A brief online image search reveals that she frequently changed hair colors (including the bubble gum pink associated with Jem).
The media nicknamed her ‘Little Miss Dynamite.’
Practically as soon as she set foot in the States, she was thrown into a larger agency.
Though a fan of 1980s music, she does not regard JEM as an inspiration for her works.
Fans of Gossip Girl, any Kardashian-based series, and My Super Sweet 16 may have heard her material.
Like Britta Phillips and creator Christy Marx, she had a cameo in the ill-fated live-action film JEM (2015) — without being a consultant.
When she was seven years old, the family relocated to South Africa, where she witnessed a youth vocalist that served as her first inspiration.
She credits her father, who had no formal training in career management, for booking and arranging her earliest shows through Africa.
She became a backing vocalist for Leonard Cohen.
In ‘One Jem Too Many,’ she showcased her own vocals, for the JEM impostor.
Fans of Smallville and America’s Next Top Model may have heard her material.
