The faculty was not realistic, all were highly idealist and always put students' interests above their own.

The laugh track was removed after the first season.
The show preached tolerance to difference races.
The hippie clothing and hair styles of the students were true to the era.
If you get over the '70s look, the plot lines still hold up thirty years later.
