The Resume

    (December 25, 1958- )
Left fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers (#25)
Played for the Oakland A’s (1979-1984, 1989- mid season 1993, 1994-1995, 1998), New York Yankees (1985-1989), Toronto Blue Jays (late season 1993), San Diego Padres (1996-mid season 1997, 2001), Anaheim Angeles (late season 1997), New York Mets (1999- mid season 2000), Seattle Mariners (late season 2000) and Boston Red Sox (2002)

Why he might be annoying:

When he first joined the Seattle Mariners, he told John Olerud: ‘Hey, when I played with the Mets, we had a guy just like you. He wore a helmet when he played first base' (2000). Yes, that was also Olerud.
The Mets released him in 2000 after he failed to run out a hit.
During the 1999 playoffs, Bobby Bonilla and he were so angry at Bobby Valentine for being benched, that they decided to play cards in the club house instead of watching the game from the bench.
He ran through former Mets third base coach Cookie Rojas's stop sign.
Most New York Met fans hate him.
He was Nolan Ryan’s 5,000 strike out victim (1989).
    He is self-centered.
He played for both New York teams and four California teams (missed San Francisco).
During his career, he became greedy.

Why he might not be annoying:

At forty-four, he played with the Newark Bears to receive another shot to make the major leagues (2003).
He will retire as the greatest leadoff hitter in baseball history.
He holds the record for most leadoff home runs.
    He is a future hall-of-famer.
He has the most stolen bases.
He has two World Series rings (Oakland 1989 and Toronto 1993).
    He was the MVP (1989).
He is a ten time all-star.
He stole more than 100 bases in a single season, three times (1980, 1982 and 1983).
