He named his dog Bizkit, after Limp Bizkit.
He was arguably the worst pitcher in the Red Sox World Series-winning starting rotation.
He isn’t as consistent as he should be.
He was part of a controversial play at first base with Alex Rodriguez during the 2004 ALCS.
He performed in a concert on the last day of the All Star break although he was scheduled to pitch again the Yankees the next day (2005).
Why he might not be annoying
He pitched a 9-inning perfect game in the minor leagues.
He is named after Charles Bronson.
Aside from being a star for the Red Sox, he is also an avid guitar player, and has released his own CD.
He sang vocals on the Dropkick Murphys’ song ‘Tessie.’
He plays in a band with ex-Alice in Chains bassist, Mike Inez.
