Joey Spampinato, bass guitar and vocals
Al Anderson, lead guitar and vocals
    Tom Ardolino, drums

Band name stands for ‘New Rhythm and Blues Quartet’

Why they might be annoying:

Terry Adams has been the only constant member of the band.
They made Billboard’s Hot 100 only once, when ‘Get That Gasoline Blues’ peaked at #70 (1974).
Despite what the title suggests, ‘At Yankee Stadium’ was a studio album, not a live recording.
They recorded an album with wrestling manager Lou Albano, ‘Lou and the Q’ (1986).

Why they might not be annoying:

Their big-name fans include Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Keith Richards, and Elvis Costello.
Their live shows are unpredictable, as they perform without a set list and take audience requests.
They were an unofficial ‘house band’ for The Simpsons for seasons 10 to 12 (when Mike Sculley, a fan, was head writer and executive producer).
They celebrated the 35th anniversary of their debut album with a pair of concerts that featured appearances by every current and former band member (April 30-May 1, 2004).
