Why she might be annoying:

She showed arrogance about her own beauty, and cut other women down for appearing less beautiful.
When her landlord fell in love with Audrey, he killed his wife.
The ensuing scandal damaged her prolific modeling career and burgeoning acting stardom.
When work flamed out, she attempted suicide, with her mother finally committing her to an asylum in 1931.

Why she might not be annoying:

Standing 5'8, with a perfectly symmetrical face and lithe body, she was called 'The American Venus.'
She proved a proto-feminist, donating money to the suffrage movement and expressing the desire for females to be free of the confining fashions of the time.
In keeping with that philosophy, she appeared fully nude in the groundbreaking 1915 movie "Inspiration.'
She claimed to never have been romantically involved with her murderous landlord.
She spent six decades locked away in a sanitarium, dying there at 104.
In an ironic twist, the face and body of some of New York's most iconic statues was buried in an unmarked grave.
