    It is considered the 'ghetto' part of New Hampshire.
    Many of its residents are uncomfortable with its rising population of minorities.
    Many of the people who work here commute for over an hour from places like Boston and New York City instead of just moving here.
    The city divided itself into two separate townships because they disagreed on where to locate their town hall (1842-1853).
    It suffered from high unemployment after the textile industry moved south after World War II.

Why Nashua, New Hampshire might not be annoying:

    It was able to revitalize its economy as an aerospace and technology center.
    It the most ethnically diverse city in the state of New Hampshire.
    Since it has no sales tax, people from all over New England love to come here to shop.
    It was twice ranked by Money Magazine as the best place to live in the country (1987 and 1997).
    It has great job opportunities for both blue and white collar workers.
    It's New Hampshire. Really, how ghetto can it be?
