Why he might be annoying:

He is religious.
He was only five truck runs away from retiring.

Why he might not be annoying:

He called police when spotting the suspected beltway sniper (October 24, 2002).
He used his truck to block the intersection, to hold the sniper's car in the rest area until the police arrived.
He kept saying 'I'm no hero' and just thanks is enough.
He said if he gets the reward money, he would split it would the victim's families.
