    Bongo player
    Birth name was Leon Johnson

He went by a single pretentious name.
He called himself the the 'percussion genius of Africa' yet he was raised in Philly.
His fake biography also stated he came to America after missionaries saved him from a tribal massacre.
He missed a performance at the Hollywood Bowl because he was in jail (1962).
His song, 'Jungle Chase,' featuring the sensual sounds of a man and woman moaning groaning, was described as 'the best sex you never had.'
