He was raised in Baltimore, Maryland and New Jersey.
His trademark is a backwards baseball cap.
He is divorce from Vera Davich (1983 - 1985).
He dropped out of college (1980) to play baseball for community colleges in Florida and Arizona.
He claims he pitched for the Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers (1980-88), however he never threw a pitch in a major league game.

His birthday, sadly, falls on the same day as one of America 's biggest tragedies.
He is passionate about baseball and music, writing music in his spare time.
He began studying acting in New York City, after retiring from baseball.

Many of his female fans will argue passionately that his backwards baseball cap is attractive.
He channeled his artistic energy into music while growing up.
He played guitar and fronted as lead singer in the band he was in during his school years.
