    He recorded 'Sunshine' only to replace an album track that had been accidentally erased by a studio engineer.
    He sold 'Sunshine' for a Jeep television commercial (2007).
    'Sunshine' made the Top Five and sold over a million singles.
    He said of 'Sunshine,' 'That song meant a lot to a lot of people during that time--especially me.'
    He sang back up for Emmylou Harris and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
