The Resume

    (April 22, 1986- )
    Resides in Cleveland, Ohio
Former student and former Burger King employee
Kidnapped by Ariel Castro on April 21, 2003
Rescued on May 6, 2013 along with Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus

Why she might be annoying:

She has a painful-looking brow piercing.
During an appearance on 'The Montell Williams Show,' psychic Sylvia Browne told Amanda's mother that her daughter was dead and 'in water.' (2004)
Her carrying, birthing and raising Castro's baby give anti-abortion activists more fuel that terminating pregnancies is not justified even in rape cases.

Why she might not be annoying:

She disappeared one day before her 17th birthday.
She was a friend and classmate of one of Castro's daughters; Ariel lured her as she walked home from her job by offering her a ride home and telling her she could come by his home to see his daughter.
Her daughter was conceived in a rape and born in captivity.
She birthed without any medical intervention.
During the delivery, her daughter stopped breathing, but was resuscitated by fellow captive Michelle Knight.
She home schooled her daughter (seen in middle right pic) while being held hostage, going as far as creating a classroom in the house where Ariel trapped his victims.
After their rescues, her daughter started public school with a reading level well above her grade.
Rapper Nelly (bottom pic) invited her onstage on Roverfest one day after Castro pleaded guilty.
Her mother died never finding out her daughter was still alive.
She turned to her captor for consolation when her mother passed away; he provided it.
Her grandfather drove from Tennessee to Ohio to see her for the first time in ten years.
